Lottery Fundraising Assistant (Casual)

The role of the Lottery Fundraising team is to promote St.Helens R.F.C. lottery and other club-related products on matchdays and non-matchdays. Successful candidates will be of smart appearance, be able to demonstrate a confident and pleasant personality, persuade customers to participate in promotions, enjoy working as part of a team whilst demonstrating personal initiative, and be driven by personal and team targets. The role is ideal for those looking for a flexible position which combines with other jobs and study commitments and gives valuable sales, marketing and fundraising experience as well as competitive rewards, in an exciting environment working for the leading sporting organisation in the area.

Job Specifications:

Hours of Work: Two hours on matchdays, plus additional hours for special non-matchday projects.

Age: Candidates must be aged 16 years of age or over

Places of Work: St Helens

Pay & Bonus: £6.31 per hour + generous bonus based upon performance.

Accountable to: Lottery Operations Controller

Experience: Candidates who can demonstrate previous promotional/sales/fundraising work or experience will be most suitable. A confident personality, an ability to project a positive image of themselves and St Helens Rugby Football Club, good cash handling skills and a determination to succeed would all be advantageous in this role.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a confident and pleasant personality, ability to persuade customers to participate in lotteries, enjoy working as part of a team whilst demonstrating personal initiative, and be driven by personal and team targets. The role is ideal for those looking for a flexible position which combines with other jobs and study commitments and gives valuable sales, marketing and fundraising experience as well as competitive rewards, in an exciting environment working for our great club.

Job Specifications:

Hours of Work: 12-20 hours, depending on ability and commitment.

Age: Candidates must be aged 16 years of age or over.
