Uvisport has secured a deal with St Helens Rugby League Club as the official community sun protection partner.

The Uvisport high protection range, developed by sun care experts Uvistat (the UK’s number one prescription sun cream brand), is the new range of sun protection products designed specifically for sportspeople.

With skin cancer the fastest rising cancer in the UK and rates of melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer, increasing by 43 per cent in the last 25 years, the need to educate on sun protection is essential.

Uvisport works alongside national charity Skcin to promote the importance of sun protection and were keen to extend the message to the rugby league community.

The programme will include sponsorship of the club mascot, sponsorship and handy information on sun protection in the new Saints Kids website and in the ‘Healthy Lifestyles’ magazines, official match sponsor, branding on the Kit Back brochure which goes out to 100 clubs and schools in the Merseyside area and retailing the new range through the Saints shops and website.
