More than 400 kids have taken part in The Saints Challenge.

 

Children aged seven- to ten-years-old from Anfield Junior School were treated to a series of skill, specific fitness and co-ordination tests based on Rugby League.

 

A spokesman from Saints’ Community Development Team said: “The past two days have seen more than 400 new participants to the game of Rugby League and all seemed to gain a massive benefit from their new skills.

 

“The programme sees the continued development of the game in the Greater Merseyside district.”
