A first minute try to the visitors rocked the Reserves but the scores were brought back level with a well taken Matty Smith try goaled by Ste Tyrer.
However, two tries in a five minute spell soon after put the visitors back in control.
Despite this the Reserves were still well in touch at the break trailing by only two points courtesy of tries from Tyrer and a converted Sam Thompson effort.
The match slipped away in the second period as the visitors scored three further tries. Dean McGilvray’s late score was little more than consolation.
Jake Emmitt led the pack from the front and Dave Hull and Dean McGilvray never stopped trying.
Matty Smith broke his arm in the game and will miss the next three months.
