Carnegie Challenge Cup Draw - Saints Face Warrington

22nd Apr 2008, 6:47pm

Saints have drawn Warrington at home in the Fifth Round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.

The tie will be played on Saturday 10 May kick off 15:00 and televised live on BBC 1.

Full Draw:

Hull KR v Huddersfield Giants
Barrow Raiders v Wakefield Trinity Wildcats
Dewsbury Rams v Oldham
Bradford Bulls v Catalan Dragons
Wigan Warriors v Whitehaven
Widnes Vikings v Hull FC
Harlequins RL v Leeds Rhinos
St Helens v Warrington Wolves

Saints Head Coach Daniel Anderson said: “Given how many Super League teams were in the draw, there were always going to be some Super League clashes. It’s a home draw, which is better than an away draw. Warrington will be no different to this week, they are a very dangerous team.

“We’ll get past the next two weeks and look at Warrington again.

“I think this will be the 10th time I’ve played Warrington. We’ve played them as many times as we’ve played Wigan in my time at the club.”
