Having just moved into a new £1.1m Clubhouse the opportunities listed below at Thatto Heath Crusaders ARLFC provide the prospect of becoming involved with a forward thinking Club of some 200+ playing members and 30+ volunteers at what is a very exciting time in the Club's 25-year history.

For season 2008/09:

Coach Coordinator

Ideally an individual with a proven rugby league track record, either playing or coaching, who can galvanise a team of experienced coaches together and should be able to encourage their colleagues to strive for excellence and continued improvement in their training and playing strategies.

U/9 Head Coach and Assistant Coach

Responsible to the Main Rugby League Committee and to be responsible for selecting, training and preparing a Rugby League squad. Ideally qualified to appropriate Coach Education Qualification but not essential. The candidate will be required to plan and deliver training sessions and to prepare the team for a playing programme in conjunction with governing body rules and with the support of the committee. With the help of the Club and its volunteers, this person should ideally (but not essential) be able to work with schools and local groups to develop players for and within his/her squad.

U/11 Head Coach

Responsible to the Main Rugby League Committee and to be responsible for selecting, training and preparing a Rugby League squad. Ideally qualified to appropriate Coach Education Qualification but not essential. The candidate will be required to plan and deliver training sessions and to prepare the team for a playing programme in conjunction with governing body rules and with the support of the committee and a very experienced Assistant Coach and Team Rep who will oversee the administration side of Club coaching.

U/13 Assistant Coach

Experienced individual to consult with the Head Coach and support and assist in the fulfilment of the Head Coaches specified tasks in conjunction with the committee, coaching team and support staff, to assist in achieving the coaching plan/strategy to enable selection, training, and preparation of a squad.
