St Helens supporters travelling to Wembley for this year’s Carnegie Challenge Cup Final against Hull FC on Saturday 30 August are being urged to leave their car at home and travel by public transport instead.

Wembley Stadium is a public transport destination and has restricted car-parking facilities at or near the venue.

On matchdays parking within the Wembley Stadium Car Parks is limited to pre-accredited traffic only. Brent Council also operates a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and as a result any cars illegally parked in the area will be issued with large fines and may be towed away.

To help supporters in planning their journey to Wembley the RFL has provided the following information:

Coach Travel

Saints are offering coach travel to Wembley, priced £33 for members and £36 for non-members. To book call 01744 455 050.

The RFL’s Official Coach Partner Fraser Eagle has also developed a range of packages which allow supporters to choose between trips with or without overnight accommodation.

Trains

Supporters can catch trains to London Euston with Virgin Rail and then catch the over ground to Wembley Central.

Wembley Stadium is served by three London Underground stations.

Wembley Park Station is served by the Metropolitan Line which runs through Kings Cross and also the Jubilee Line. The station is about 10 minutes walk along Olympic Way.

Wembley Stadium Station is served by the Chiltern Line and is to the south side of the stadium.

Wembley Central Station is served by the Bakerloo Line and Silverlink train line and is about a 15 minutes walk from the stadium.

Park and Train

Supporters can park at Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead or Watford Junction station car parks and travel direct to Wembley Central (Bakerloo or Overground)

Alternatively park at harrow & Wealdstone station car park and travel direct to Wembley Central (Bakerloo or Overground)
