A – Star Angels

A Star Saints Angels are our official Cheerleader Team at St.Helens R.F.C. The Angels, who are all qualified instructors, work with groups across Merseyside on a variety of projects. The A-Star Saints Angels are part of Saints Community Development Foundation and they regularly run camps for aspiring cheerleaders aged between six- to 15-years-old.

Saints Community Development Foundation also work with the Sutton Academy and The Sutton Tornadoes Cheerleading Squads both of which provide a great opportunity for children to have fun, meet new friends and also provides routes for progression. The A Star Saints Angels also have a huge range of classes for young members of our community to add to the work they already do.

Mini and Junior Angels

Mini and Junior Angels are a diverse cheer group designed for those ages 4 to 14. Children can learn basic cheerleading techniques whilst making new friends along the way and those who attend the Angels sessions also have the chance to perform in front of our crowd at home games.

Cheerleader Camps

Saints Angels regularly host up camps in the school holidays that are very popular within our community.

Children who come along learn a variety cheerleading techniques and dance routines with professional cheerleaders aiding them along the way.

After the routine is perfected, participants have the chance to perform the routine they have learned at our home fixtures either before kick off or half time.
