Regional Camp Selections

Following on from a successful Service Campaign several St Helens players have been selected for the 2008 Regional Camps.
At the under 13s, 14s and 15s age groups the best 40 players in the North West attend a week long training camp at Rossall School in Fleetwood.
After an intense week of skill development, team preparation and education the players are further assessed and the best 20 will be selected to represent the North West against other regions in their bid to progress to the National set up.
Neil Kilshaw, Saints Player Performance Manager said: “Not only are the Saints heavily represented by the players but the St Helens scholarship coaches will also be on the camp in the form of Ste Leonard, Head Coach at under 13s, Mick Oxley Regional Team Head Coach at under 13s and myself Head Coach at under 15.
“St Helens scholarship scheme is also heavily represented with scholars from other areas of the North West, for example Oldham and Chorley.
“Good Luck to all players selected and from everybody at the Club we hope you enjoy the experience.”
