Saints have got on the bus with their new community transport partner Arriva.

An inaugural bus route ran pre Harlequins for schools outside of the area to enable children to visit Knowsley road and see the Saints in action.

The first group of school children to benefit from this service included several schools from the Croxteth area of Merseyside and the scheme will now expand to reach more schools in Merseyside.

Saints Community Marketing Manager Emma Knight said: “We are delighted at the success of the Saints’ schools bus scheme and look forward to providing further transport opportunities for schools and to seeing more children at Knowsley Road on a match night.

“We are a community club and together with Arriva aim to benefit the community as much as we can.”
