Latest Service Area Round Up

Saints Service Area took on Warrington this weekend in the latest round of fixtures:

U12: 50-14
U13: 10-28
U14: 22-22
U15: 10-12

Featured game - Under 15s:

This was a great game unfortunately marred by the injury of Jamie Bradshaw which led to the game being abandoned eleven minutes before the end.

The good news is that despite a broken leg he will be back next season! Our thoughts are with him for a speedy recovery.

Warrington raced into a twelve point lead with tries from Chris Brown and Jonathon Wilson. Gary Loughead kicked both conversions.

St Helens fought their way back into the game with Joe Bate and Danny Jones taking the game to the Warrington forwards and St Helens began to gain a foothold. Right on the stroke of halftime a break from acting half back by Callum Welsby saw him score just to the right of the posts.

After half time, St. Helens continued to press the Warrington line when a good break by Liam Fishwick led to a try by Shae Fraser-Lyon. Adam Barber was on target with the conversion.

If we had had the last 11 minutes who knows but it was not be. Congratulations to Warrington.
