St.Helens Women face Wigan Warriors at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 30th May 2026, in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup Final.
Kick-off at the National Stadium is scheduled for 11:45 am ahead of the Men’s Final between Wigan and Hull KR, which takes place at 3pm.
The Saints Women have reached the Final of this competition for a sixth successive season, and will be playing at Wembley for a fourth year in a row too. To the victors will go the spoils; the winner will lift and take home the Women’s Challenge Cup trophy.
St.Helens had a firm grip on the trophy, winning it from 2021 through to 2024, before Wigan claimed the prize in last year’s final.
Meeting in both major finals last season and taking the race for the League Leaders’ Shield down to the wire, the Saints and the Warriors are the two best women’s rugby league teams in the country, and both will be highly motivated to beat the other.

👋 WAVE THE TEAM OFF ON FRIDAY
The Sains Women will leave the BrewDog Stadium on Friday, 29th May, to travel to Wembley Stadium for the 2026 Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Final the following day.
The Club is encouraging supporters to join us in waving the team off as they attempt to reclaim the trophy they held for four consecutive seasons from 2021.
Over the last three years, our Saints Women’s players and staff have been incredibly moved by the number of our fans who have come to attend a traditional Wembley send-off, and we would love to have that wonderful display of support once again ahead of the 2026 showpiece event.
On departure day, we would love fans to bring any signs and messages of good luck for the team and hold them up high as the Saints Women’s team boards onto our team bus for the national stadium.
This promises to be a heartwarming occasion, and if you can attend, please see the key information below!
📅 WHEN
The team bus departs on Friday, 29th May 2026 at 9:30am. The team is expected to board shortly after 9am and will come through the supporters who have gathered to wish them well, pose for photos and sign autographs.
🏠 WHERE
The BrewDog Stadium, with fans asked to attend by filling the outside area by the Stadium Reception.
🎨 WHAT TO BRING
Bring your hand-made signs, good luck letters or drawings, or anything you think will wish the girls the best of luck ahead of the big game!
🚗 PARKING
Fans are encouraged to park on the Stadium Car Park and then to attend by approaching the outside area by the Stadium Reception and Superstore in advance of the departure time.
We do ask supporters to please refrain from entering the Reception area itself if possible.
🎆 FROM THE GROUND COMES LIGHT
St.Helens Women will wear their 2026 Away shirt at Wembley Stadium.
The kit holds a strong narrative that honours the past, celebrates the present, and inspires the future. This shirt features a striking, three-coloured ‘V’ designed specifically to tell the story of the women’s game in the Town.
Under the mantra “From The Ground Comes Light,” the three emerging colours represent the journey of the Saints Women. The traditional ‘V’ is reimagined with three distinct tiers, each representing a vital stage of our story. Green (Heritage) / Purple (The Now) / Coral (The Future).
