Saints and Riverside Launch Top Trumps
Saints and Riverside Housing have teamed up to launch Saints ‘Top Trumps’.
Featuring players from the Challenge Cup Holder’s first team, each card focuses on a particular squad member and lists key data such as height, weight and number of tries scored.
They can be used as a comparison card game whilst on the reverse side is a message to reinforce Riverside’s Safer Communities Initiative and the RFL’s Respect campaign.
The cards have already been distributed to local schools and community groups who have found that they can be used to support personal and social health education as well as literacy and numeracy.
engage Super League’s Top try scorer Ade Gardner took time out from training to join Riverside and local children from Sutton Manor Primary School to launch this joint initiative.
He said: “This is a great way for children to learn and to take on board the message that we need to work together to improve our communities.”
