After their triumph at Wembley, Saints are now backing Macmillan Cancer Support's flagship event 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' taking place on 28 September 2007.
Macmillan Cancer Support is St Helens Rugby League FC's charity of the year and Saints' stars Matt Gidley and Paul Clough have taken part in a photo shoot urging people from Merseyside to get involved and hold a coffee morning.
Tony Colquitt, Chief Executive of Saints said: "Everybody at Saints is delighted to be backing such a worthy cause as Macmillan Cancer Support.
"We will all have kettle on for the event and hope it is very successful.”
Community Fundraiser for Merseyside, Tracey Morgan, said: "Anyone can take part! We want as many people as possible in Merseyside to put the kettle on and enjoy a coffee for Macmillan Cancer Support.
"You can hold a coffee morning at your school, at work, in your church hall or simply at home with your friends. What's important to remember is that every cup counts.
"Every year 270,000 people are diagnosed with cancer. We want to support every one of these people but we can only do it with your help. I know that last year in Merseyside we had a huge amount of support and I think we'll see even more this year. It's a popular event. After all we all love a cuppa and a chat!"
Last year the record-breaking event raised £6.7 million and organisers are hoping to beat that this year.

Last year people in Merseyside raised £70,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning. The money is already being used to provide practical, emotional and medical support and financial help and advice for anyone affected by cancer, from the moment a diagnosis is suspected.
More people are diagnosed with cancer every day so Macmillan is hoping World's Biggest Coffee morning 2007 will raise record amounts of money.
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer, providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support.
