HOT NEWS from the kennels at Knowsley Road...
At Christmas, our cheeky pooch St Bernard decided it was time to help a young pup who needed a home.
So off he went to Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre in Merseyside where he found the perfect junior pup to help him at Saints… Boots!
Dog’s Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for more than 16,000 dogs every year, helping to find happy homes for thousands of stray and abandoned canines.
They are working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. Visit Dogs Trust in Merseyside, or for more info go to

And, as you can see from the pictures below, St Bernard has bulked up to become a tough, lean, mean fighting machine in preparation for the season ahead.
Like most of us, he had a little too much to eat over the festive period and has been in intensive training alongside the rest of the first team squad to be ready for the new campaign.
His message to the other Superleague mascots is: Watch Out, the top dog is in town!
He has also been taking Boots to Mascot School and you can see the results of their hard work when both make their first appearance of the season at the Warrington game on February 15.
For your chance to be a junior mascot at this game, run out on the pitch with the team and be the first to meet the new mascots, Bernard and Boots, just answer this simple question:
What is the name of St Bernard’s new adopted pup?
