Mackintosh Solicitors Ltd have signed a major deal to become a corporate sponsor of St Helens Rugby League Club for the 2008 season.

Established in April 2001 initially for the purpose of offering tailor made legal services and solutions to the legal expenses insurance industry, the firm has acted for more than 12,500 clients.

In August 2007, it made a strategic decision to become totally focused on employment law and human resource services.

It now acts for Europe’s leading legal expenses insurance company as well as providing hands on practical advice to major trading companies, professional private clients and the SME market.

Its client base is spread throughout the UK and this has been a fantastic achievement for a business that is soon to celebrate only its seventh anniversary.

Managing Director Clive Mackintosh wants to see the practice become recognised as pre-eminent in this area of law. He said: “We already act for some of the biggest clients any law firm would like to be associated with and this is a great achievement given our size and age. The firm is also one of only five per cent of law firms in England and Wales to have achieved the highly coveted Lexcel Accreditation from the Law Society for its excellence in practice management. It is also currently working very hard to become accredited as a best company to work for.

In November 2007, Mackintosh Solicitors Ltd became a member of St Helens Chamber and is looking forward to developing links with businesses in the St Helens area to provide bespoke employment law and HR advice to small and medium sized businesses .
