engage Super League XIII has been the best supported season in the history of the competition - attracting a new record average weekly attendance.
The average attendance at the completion of the 27 round regular season is 10,338 per game per week (last season's average at the end of the season was 10,264 per game per week).
It is the second consecutive year that the League has attracted an average weekly attendance of over 10,000 per game
An aggregate total of 1,674,809 supporters have passed through the gates at engage Super League stadia this season.
These all-time record attendances have come in the first season that there has been no promotion and relegation.
Commenting, the RFL's Chief Executive Nigel Wood said: “We have enjoyed a tremendously successful season on and off the field and the fact that engage Super League continues to grow year on year demonstrates that the competition has now reached a new elevated level of profile and prestige.
“Of course the 2008 season was the first to be played without promotion and relegation but the absence of this has in no way detracted from the attractiveness and excitement offered by engage Super League and we are delighted that supporters have once again relished the spectacle on offer.
“With fierce the competition for play-off places that we have seen and the many thrilling matches still come this year, we are set for even greater excitement in the build up to the Grand Final at Old Trafford on October 4.
“The Magic Weekend also generated an increased attendance this season and this innovative event is now well established as a key element of the campaign.
Wood added: "We believe engage Super League offers an unrivalled family sporting experience which will continue to drive growth in future years”.
Saints Chief Executive Tony Colquitt said: “Our average attendance this season is ahead of this point last year which is testimony to the aggressive marketing policy both the Club, the RFL and engage have been actively involved in.
“We are looking forward to the rest of the season which is bound to include more excitement as we pull out all the stops to reach our third Grand Final in a row.”
