LOUIE McCarthy-Scarsbrook reckons he has never felt as fit as he begins his debut season with the Saints.
Writing on his blog the former Harlequins forward said: “I played my first game in a Saints shirt against Widnes a few weeks ago and I was the fittest and fastest I’ve ever felt. It was a shame that they hadn’t managed to fit my name on the back of my shirt for it though.
“I’m glad the kit man sourced letters small enough to fit by the Millennium Magic weekend, I was beginning to think it would be a biro job!”
