JAMES Roby will be out for up to three-weeks with a thigh injury Royce Simmons confirmed today.
The hooker limped off the field at the Galpharm Stadium on Sunday after a heavy challenge.
Simmons at the time said the injury looked “pretty nasty” but would reserve judgement until Saints’ medical team had assessed the problem.
But scans have shown only minor damage and that means the 26-year-old is expected to return in three matches.
Ahead of the Hull FC game this Friday – tickets are still available – Saints expect to have Chris Flannery, Josh Perry and Jamie Foster back in contention, but have doubts over Mark Flanagan (thigh) and Tommy Makinson (tendonitis).
We’ll have full coverage of Tuesday’s press conference and all the news ahead of Friday’s match during the week and on the Official Podcast.
