Next Up: Hull FC

HULL FC are inviting St Helens supporters to travel in large numbers to the KC Stadium next weekend with special ticket and accommodation offers available for a special Jubilee celebration when the two teams meet in Super League on Sunday, June 3.

The Saints have always embraced the journey across the M62 to East Yorkshire and have mixed well with their Hull counterparts in recent seasons, when matches between the sides have served up some truly memorable moments and plenty of drama.

Now, the Black and Whites would like to extend another warm welcome to fans of last year’s Grand Finalists travelling across for the match, which will see plenty of activities and entertainment rolled out for fans of both clubs as part of special celebrations to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

And with this in mind, Hull FC have waivered the match week ticket price increase so that all adult away supporters tickets will remain priced at £23, including on the day of the game.

The club have also secured a number of discounted hotel rooms courtesy of the club’s official hotelier, Hallmark Hotels, who will be offering cheaper rates exclusively to St Helens supporters wishing to stay over in Hull during the bank holiday weekend.

The offer will see 4-star bed and breakfast rooms priced at just £65 for two people with complimentary bacon or sausage sandwiches after the game finishes on the Sunday.

The discounted room rate will apply to supporters wishing to stay on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday nights, with fans simply needed to quote the code “MELI0306” when booking over the phone on 01482 645212.

Meanwhile, the fan park will be open to supporters from 11am on the day of the game and will ensure there is plenty to do both inside and outside the ground, including fairground rides, archery, inflatables, a dog show, face painting, balloon modellers, food stalls, trampolines and a rodeo bull ride all in nearby West Park.

There’ll also be the pomp and ceremony of a vintage open-top bus, plenty of flags, live music, rugby coaching sessions and much more in an event that will provide families with the perfect day out.

And when fans arrive, you’ll not only be able to wander around the fan park at your leisure, you’ll also be entertained by a Queen tribute act performing inside the stadium and play your part in a raucous rendition of God Save The Queen, led by local classical singer Leroy Vickers.

You can buy tickets by calling into the ticket office at Langtree Park, clicking here or but calling 01744 455 052.
