THE Saints bounced back from last week’s loss to the Bulls with a great 34-20 victory over the previously unbeaten Rhinos.
The Rhinos had conceded an average of only eight points per game in their previous seven outings but this counted for nothing as the Saints blew the Rhinos defence apart scoring seven tries in the process.
Ben Roberts led the way with a brace and there were also tries for his wing partner Ben Parry, full back Corey Lee and centre Lewis Galbraith.
The victory was founded on another solid display from the pack for whom Alex Clare and André Savelio (pictured) scored tries.
The margin would have been more emphatic had the normally reliable Lewis Charnock had his kicking boots with him.
Next up for the Saints is a date with the City Reds at Langtree Park next Saturday as the final game in a triple header preceded by the U15s & 16s.
