TP: Ready For Wolves

TONY Puletua is fully focussed on the Warrington match and continuing Saints charge up the Super League table.

He missed Sunday’s game with Huddersfield through suspension and spent the weekend resting up ready for the big challenge on Monday August 6.

“I’m a good watcher of the game now I am getting older!” the 33-year-old said. “It gave me the chance to rest up and get ready for the huge game with the Wolves. We’ve had some good battles with them over the last few years and it won’t be any different with them on Monday.

“It could be for a spot on the ladder too and that means the game is even more important. We want to finish as high as we can and coming into the season one of our goals was to finish in the top two.

“We have a chance to do that and it will be a good stepping stone for us to head into the semis.”

He continued: “I have enjoyed this season, when I came back from injury anyway. It was tough going through the shoulder injury but you just have to put your head down and work hard.

“My confidence was still there, but it was also down to the help of a lot of people, family and friends. Wherever I have been and achieved, I haven’t done that on my own and I have the people closest to me to thank for staying on my feet during those times.”
