IF pre-season is anything to go by 2013 could be a very special year for the Saints.
Willie Manu, Jordan Turner and Alex Walmsley have impressed in pre-season and with a mean defence that’s only let in two tries, the signs are very encouraging.
Nathan Brown’s charges have trained well in pre-season and the squad has been together as a unit for the first time in many years.
Saints will be helped by the fact no-one was on international duty and that means the likes of Jon Wilkin and James Roby have also had a full off-season.
But the proof is in the pudding… and Saints will take to the field in anger for the first time on Saturday February 2 (4.45pm) when they host Huddersfield Giants.
A large crowd is expected as Saints begin their quest for Super League glory and tickets are on sale now.
