NATHAN Brown has confirmed that James Roby will be out of action for an “extended period of time.”
The hooker picked up an ankle injury in the 52-18 win over Wakefield and limped off at half time.
“Robes will be out for an extended period of time,” Brown said. “We’re not sure how long at the moment as he is seeing a specialist on Tuesday. It is more than likely he will be out for a month and maybe as long as ten weeks. Ant Walker will be out for two to four weeks too.
“It is definitely something we didn’t want to happen but we will move on, move someone in there and that will give them the opportunity to do well for the team. I’m sure they will.
“We will look at the best options and see how we go later in the week. I wouldn’t want to move our half backs around but maybe that is the best option.
“On the good side though Paul Wellens will return, as will Tony Puletua whilst Ade Gardner has a chance too.”
