NATHAN Brown says Luke Thompson will make his debut this Saturday against London Broncos.
The prop forward is set to don the Red V for the first time on his 18th birthday.
Luke has been with the club since he was 11 and signed from Bold Miners having previously played for Pilkington Recs.
He also recently represented England on their Academy Tour of Australia.
Brown revealed that half-back Nathan Ashe will also get extended game time at the Twickenham Stoop.
“Luke is a talented young kid,” Brown said. “He has been there for a while waiting for a chance and he will get that this Saturday.
“Nathan Ashe will play too. He is back from injury and it will be good to see him. He has a good skillset.”
If Luke makes his debut he will be the seventh Saints player from the Academy to make their bow this season.
