NATHAN Brown said his side created 60 to 70 points and looked far better with the ball as they beat Bradford 30-18 on Sunday.
Saints scored five tries and could have had a whole host more in a win that took them into the Play Off spots.
“We obviously created 60 or 70 points which was pleasing for us considering where we’ve been,” he said. “We were the better side with the ball and we were defensively good too. We did do too much defending in the second half though and at times our attention to detail on the final pass wasn’t so great.
“The game was in the balance in the second half but the issue was with how much defence we were doing. Their dummy half runners unloaded the ball and that caused us trouble. On the edges and middle we held up pretty well. The game would have been out far away if we had some possession.
“But to where we were three weeks ago it is pleasing.”
He continues: “Jonny Lomax did well and played some stand off and full back. He rolled a bit between the two with Wello. Paul is doing well at 6 and had some good touches.
“Our attack from this week to the last was far better. We had more ball movement and that is what happens when you bring in the likes of Roby and Lomax.
“We came through injury free and now we need a little luck to keep those combinations and get better.”
