Saints To Sign Masoe

BIG forward Mose Masoe will join Saints next season.

The 24-year-old put has put to paper on a two-year contract from 2014 and will link up current teammate Luke Walsh.

A forward by trade, he joined Sydney Roosters’ junior system in 2008 before making his first grade debut in 2010 against the Gold Coast.

From there he went to appear 46 times time for his club, adding two tries.

The powerful Kiwi – who has been selected in the train on squads for both New Zealand and Samoa – then joined Penrith Panthers where he has played seven games to date.

“Mose is a big forward who will add a lot of size to our pack next year,” Saints Head Coach Nathan Brown said. “He is young, still developing and will complement the squad we are putting together for 2014.

“We’re delighted to have secured his services and once again we’d like to thank Penrith Panthers for agreeing to release him from his contract early.”

Masoe is sure to be a fans’ favourite at Saints standing at six foot four and the best part of 18 stone.

We’ve trawled the net for videos of Masoe and this one certainly sums him up.

And we’ll have an interview with the new boy very soon.
