GARETH O’Brien has returned to Warrington Wolves.
The half back had been on loan at Saints for a month before both clubs agreed to extend the deal to a ‘week to week’ basis.
He played seven games scoring fifty points.
Unfortunately, the 21-year-old missed the home win over London after being caught high and late in the victory in Catalan.
With him missing this Sunday’s game at Wakefield and being ineligible to play against his parent club the loan has come to a natural end.
Saints would like to place on record their thanks to Gareth O’Brien as well as Tony Smith and Warrington.
The loan benefitted both parties at a time when Saints had a number of players out injured.
