Opportunity Knocks

The utility player has made 15 appearances this season for Saints and has occupied the half back spot for the last two matches.

“I love playing rugby league and I enjoy what I do for a living,” he said. “It’s good being on the field with the boys and I am hoping to make the most of the opportunity and play as well as I can.

“It has been frustrating not being able to play, but at the end of the day I am professional have to do my job. I have worked hard and I’m back in the side.”

Lance has played in both Saints meetings with Warrington this season and has bagged tries in each.

“At this stage of the year every point counts,” he added. “We are looking to secure a home semi-final and therefore it is a big game for us. We seem to get up for these big games and we are looking forward to it.

“It is a long season and things change such as form and injuries. We know we have to improve. We will be involved in the finals and there are some exciting times ahead.”
