Academy Look Forward

DAY 10: THE players woke up to an early morning recovery session in the local pool and as you will see it was certainly cold, writes Mike Rush.

Last night’s performance was an improvement from Sunday’s game and it was good to see the players take some of the coaching points on board and improve.

The performance wasn’t what we all wanted and the young players are fully aware that we all still expect more from them.

However, none of the staff can fault the players’ commitment or effort in all parts of the tour to date.

The young players once again stood up to the test despite giving away size and age and the experience will do them good in the long term.

The players and some of the staff continued the recovery with a surfing lesson at Manly and as you can see… either you have it or you don’t.

Dave, the team Physio, became the first Physio not to master the art of surfing and I am sure he will get some stick on this return from his younger brother Mike…

Enjoy the photos.
