JOHN Walsh has been inducted into the St.Helens R.F.C. Hall of Fame.
Surrounded by teammates from his successful time at the club he received the award this week in the Ty-phoo Hall of Fame.
John joined the club from Moss Bank ARL in 1968 and went on to make 189 appearances for Saints scoring 48 tries and kicking 156 goals.
He was predominately a centre, but also played at full back at his time with the Saints and was part of the successful Challenge Cup winning team of 1972.
He also Captained England in the 1975 World Cup.
