KEL Coslett has been awarded a British Empire Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
The Club’s Honorary Life President has received the award for services to Rugby League.
Kel was a legendary player at the club and still holds the record for most appearances and points.
The dual code international said: “I am proud, overwhelmed, excited and humbled by this award.
“To get something like this at my stage of life is superb. I have been here for more than 50 years and I’d like to thank the many people who have helped me along the way.”
Kel is currently with the Saints in France as they prepare to face Catalan on Saturday evening.
His current role with the club is Gameday Manager.
We’ll catch up with Kel when the Saints return from France but in the meantime congratulations to an all time legend at the Saints.
