Brown Pleased With Result

NATHAN Brown was pleased with his Saints after their 58-16 win over London on Saturday.

His side ran in 11 tries as they returned to the top of the table.

“We got off to a reasonably slow start and then had a good period for 30 minutes,” he said. “After half time it looked like the score would blow out but to London’s credit they hung on in there and gained a few tries.

“I’m happy with my boys and I think the London boys should be happy with how they hung on in there too.

“We were looking for an improvement on last week, and we got that as we were a little more consistent for longer, but we need to work longer and get better at it.”

He added: “Lance (Hohaia) has hurt the bottom of his foot. He has been playing well and I think this is his best spell since he came to England. He has been really consistent.

“We have Gary Wheeler sitting there fit and ready and I thought Jordan Turner slotted in there well today. We will know more on Lance next week.”

Saints are next up when they host Widnes this Friday. Tickets are on sale from the Ticket Office at Langtree Park or by logging on here.
