PAUL Wellens crossed for his 230th try and 1001st point last Friday at Hull FC.
It came on the back of 484 appearances for the Saints and included 40 goals and a solitary drop goal.
Wello made his debut at home to Halifax in August 1998 and has gone on to be one of the most decorated players not only in the club’s history but the sport too.
As well as team honours including four grand finals, five challenge cups and two World Club Challenges he’s won the Man of Steel and the Lance Todd too.
His most productive season came in 2007 when he scored 24 tries and kicked 15 goals – a four-pointer feat he matched, without the goals, in 2012.
And he’s scored most points against Warrington – 96 in total.
You’ll see below that he’s rising up the Appearances and Tries chart too and as he’s still going strong who would be on more milestones coming his way!
Congrats Mr St Helens.
