SAINTS 19s have a big match with Warrington this Thursday as they aim to secure second in the Academy Championship.
A win for Derek Traynor’s side would see them 80 minutes from the Grand Final.
The Academy operate under a top six system and therefore defeat could leave them 320 minutes from that big match.
The 19s have had a good season winning 18 games from 23 even though a number of eligible players have been called up into the first team squad.
“It’s a big game for us,” Traynor said. “We beat Warrington last time we faced them and they have gone on to secure the Leaders Shield.
“It will be a good test and we want to finish as high as we can to give us the best possible chance in the play-offs.
“The lads like playing in front of a big crowd so hopefully there will be plenty in watching both teams produce a pulsating contest.”
The match kicks off at 5.30pm at Langtree Park – before the first team game – with turnstiles opening at 5.
Tickets for Thursday’s game remain on sale from the Ticket Office at Langtree Park, by calling 01744 455 052 or by logging on here.
