FIVE Saints have been named in the England Youth and Academy squads for 2015.
Kevin Brown is called up to the Youth roster whilst Aaron Smith, Frederick Bailey, Jake Spedding and Morgan Knowles are included in the Academy set-up.
Saints Player Performance Manager, Neil Kilshaw, said: “We are delighted with those players that have been selected for both the England Academy and England Youth squads and wish them all the best for the season.
“They are just reward for the commitment and dedication that we have witnessed in their time with us, and will represent the club, community clubs, coaches and schools with distinction.
“It must also be said that we are a little disappointed at some of the players not selected and feel that many can count themselves unfortunate.
“There are many many examples of players however that don’t get representative honours at youth level who then go onto fulfil their ambitions of Super League and becoming full Internationals. We hope that this touch of disappointment now will spur them on for the future.”
The Youth squad will start their UK training camp on Wednesday April 1 followed by two Test matches against France on Friday April 3 and Tuesday April 7.
The Academy squad will travel to their training camp in France on Monday May 18 and will also play a Test match against France whilst there.
