Quinlan Set For Saints

IT’S official… Adam Quinlan is set to join Saints until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old full back signs in from Parramatta pending a successful visa application, which the Club expects he will receive on Friday.

Mike Rush, Saints Chief Executive, said: “We have worked really hard to bring in a player who is quick, elusive and a proven try scorer.

“We’re delighted Adam has agreed to join us. This move is great for both parties as he can not only provide cover at full back, but also on the wing and in the halves.

“He is a quiet, versatile individual who goes about his business and we’re looking forward to having him on board.

“Adam has been informed that his visa application has been successful and he expects to receive it by the end of the week.

“If everything goes to plan, we are expecting him here by Monday as we begin our preparations for next Friday’s home game with Huddersfield.”

Head Coach Keiron Cunningham added: “Adam is a great player, naturally talented and very much like Jonny Lomax in his skill set. He can play in the halves, can support the man and I’m sure he will become a Saints favourite.

“He is a good athlete and we’re looking forward to welcoming him into our system.”

Adam was born in Kogarah and played junior for Culburra Dolphins before being picked up by the Dragons.

He made his first grade debut in 2013 and played 25 games – scoring eight tries – before moving to the Eels.

Tickets for the home game with Huddersfield (July 10) are on sale from the Ticket Office, by calling 01744 455 052 or online here.
