Turner Looking For Change

JORDAN Turner is hoping to change the record when Saints take on Hull KR this Friday.

Keiron Cunningham’s men head to the KC Lightstream Stadium seeking their first win over there since 2008 – and their first in the league since 2007.

“Records don’t mean anything, they are there to be changed,” he said. “It is another pitch at the end of the day. Those records are the furthest thing from our minds.

“Hull KR are a tough side. They attack really well and have good players such as Albert Kelly and a few others.

“As with all the games in the early rounds you have to expect the unexpected. You need to be 100 per cent on what you do best. And we are going there focused.”

Jordan played centre at the weekend – after appearing at standoff the week previous.

It’s a dual role he is happy with.

“I feel equally at home in both positions and to be fair I’m not bothered which one I play in. Things didn’t go according to plan at Salford but at Huddersfield I thought me and Walshy combined really well.

“If I am at stand-off again then I will give it my all.”

Tickets for the games against Castleford, Wakefield and Wigan (ALL TICKET) are now on sale.

You can buy from the Ticket Office at Langtree Park, by calling 01744 455 052 or online here.
