Vikings Provide Tough Test

JAMAHL Lolesi is expecting a tough clash at Widnes on Monday.

Speaking before the Easter weekend he said the Vikings are well coached and have added a lot of strike in the off season.

“I have some good friends over there,” the assistant coach commented. “Kevin Brown is obviously a good player; the full back Rhys Hanbury is too… and then you look at Charlie Runciman and Aaron Heremaia too. They have a good spine, they work hard and are playing some nice footy.

“The game against Wigan showed how hard they try for each other. They scramble, kick chase well and it’s clear they aren’t beaten at any point. If you get that effort and desire than that goes a long way in rugby league.”

Saints have made one change in their 19 from Friday’s game with Ricky Bailey coming on for Lama Tasi.

Luke Walsh (pictured) is included and he currently has the longest points scoring streak in the game.

Widnes have left out Kevin Brown and Lloyd White through injury.

Ticket details for the game are here.
