SAINTS will take to the pitch in anger for the first time this year when they host Widnes in the Karalius Cup at the Totally Wicked Stadium this Sunday.
Kick-off is 3pm and it will be the first time all five of Saints new signings will take to the field.
Matty Smith is likely to line up alongside Theo Fages whilst Luke Douglas, Adam Walker, Tommy Lee and Ryan Morgan will all feature in the traditional clash.
The game is Saints first hit out of the pre-season – a home date with Castleford follows a week later – before they face Leeds Rhinos on Thursday February 9 (8pm).
That is a rematch of the dramatic 38-34 tussle that announced Jonny Lomax’ return to action last April.
Starting the 2017 Betfred Super League season is paramount but the 2015 treble winners will provide stern opposition!
