LUKE Douglas is looking forward to taking to the field in anger and showing the fans what he can do.
He says he joined the club because of the passion displayed by head coach Keiron Cunningham and the atmosphere generated by the fans in England.
“You have a great community here,” the prop forward said. “The fans love their footy and I cannot wait to get out into the town and meet everyone. I want to put in some good performances for the team.
“When Keiron approached me I obviously already knew Saints were a great club. He was very passionate and keen to get me over and I loved that. I loved his passion.
“I’ve fitted in well. The boys are a good bunch and it has been good to be around them. There are a good crop of young guys here too, from the successful Academy side, and hopefully I can add something to them and help them on the way.”
Luke Douglas is set to make his Saints bow when Leeds come to the Totally Wicked Stadium on Thursday February 9.
