ZEB Taia is looking forward to playing for the Saints.
The back rower has put pen to paper on a contract which sees him switch from the Gold Coast Titans.
He is expected to arrive in the country in the next couple of weeks, visa pending.
“Thanks for showing me heaps of love,” he wrote on his Instagram page. “I’m looking forward to putting on the new colours soon.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity that has risen in front of me and my family and I can’t wait to get there and rip in for a club that has so much proud history.”
Taia is no stranger to Super League having played for Catalans and earning a spot in the 2015 Dream Team.
“My intention was to play in the NRL for the Titans and I was looking forward to 2017. But Saints approached me with an offer I couldn’t really refuse and I am looking forward to going over there and ripping in.
“I want to give the next three seasons my best.”
