Book of Condolence

We have placed a Book of Condolence in reception at the Totally Wicked Stadium for supporters to leave their messages for the late Tom van Vollenhoven.

It will be in situ until Friday November 3 for anyone who wants to pay their respects to the Saints’ legend.

We will then send the Book over to Tom’s family in South Africa.

If fans want to leave floral tributes, we ask that they do so at Steve Prescott MBE Memorial Garden which is near the East Stand.

The Book will be available during Stadium opening hours; 9-5 during the week and in the Saints Superstore from 10-4 on Saturday.

The Heritage alcove in the Saints Superstore has also been updated as part of the celebrations of Tom’s fabulous achievements in rugby.

One particular highlight is the actual telegram sent to the club from South Africa that told Chairman Harry Cook and the Board of Directors that Tom had signed to become a Saint.

Also on view is Ken Large’s iconic jersey from the 1961 Challenge Cup final, when Ken and Tom conjured up one of the greatest tries ever seen at Wembley.
