Saints take on Sheffield this Saturday in their first pre-season hit out of the new campaign.
Fans will see a blend of youth and experience in Justin Holbrook’s side with the likes of Theo Fages and Danny Richardson appearing alongside Matty Costello, James Bentley and eight top age players from our Academy system.
Mark Aston’s team are further into their pre-season fixture programme and will put out a strong squad that will include new signing and USA Hawks captain Mark Offerdahl.
Matty Fozard and Oli Davies will also face their former teammates whilst fans will no doubt be familiar with the likes of Jordan Tansey too.
“I am excited,” Aston said earlier in the week. “We’re in that transition where we’ve got rid of players and fetched some new ones in and hopefully we can start developing them and this culture within the group.
“It will be good to see where we’re at against a team who will play quick. It will be good to get out there, have a go and see where we are.”
