Mark Percival says Saints will look to right the wrongs of their defeat to Leeds when they take on Hull KR this Friday.
The centre pointed to “sloppy tries” and a “lack of execution” as two reasons behind their 28-20 reverse.
“Friday is all about the team and if we get the win we are still in a good position and set well going into the Good Friday derby,” he said. “The main focus is getting the win and getting back to it.
“We worked hard the other night but I think we let ourselves down with execution and not putting our plays on. We also conceded some sloppy tries over the line too.
“That is what we are looking to try and improve on this week.”
Percy currently sits top of the Betfred Super League try scoring charts with seven, whilst teammate Ben Barba is just one behind.
It’s a combination that has proved deadly so far this season – and one Saints will no doubt lean to as they travel to East Hull.
“They’re a tough team to face, especially at their own ground,” he said. “But to be fair it would be hard wherever we played them. I have played there a few times and enjoy it because the crowd is good.
“I’m looking toward to it.”
