It seems that Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook is some kind of fortune teller!
Before our match with Hull KR last Friday he predicted that James Roby would finally score the try that would take him to 100 in the Red Vee.
He also told the skipper exactly how it would be scored too.
“I’ve been on 99 tries for a while now and before the game I was in the changing rooms set next to Louie,” he said. “He’s a bit of an oracle at times and he said I was going to score and it would be a little barge over close to the line.
“And that happened! I am made up to score 100 tries … it sounds quite impressive doesn’t it? I’d be happy if I didn’t score another one for the rest of my career!”
Hopefully that is tongue in cheek as Saints will want Roby and his teammates to firing on all cylinders this Friday!
The captain has scored 13 tries in 45 games against the Rhinos.
