Lewis Dodd has been selected in England Youth’s 22-man squad to take on France in a two-match Test series next month.
The scrum half will be part of the side that will tour France from July 9 to July 17.
“We’re delighted for Lewis; his selection comes off the back of hard work and we know he will represent the club in an excellent manner,” Saints Academy Head Coach Derek Traynor said. “There are other disappointed members of our squad who were involved but not selected.
“We’re positive they will use this as motivation to prove themselves in the future.”
England will face France on Friday July 13 and Monday July 16 in Le Barcarès, Perpignan.
