The 20-year-old has been recognised for his performances on dual-registration for Sheffield.
He has played 15 games for the Eagles alongside five for the Saints.
Brandon Moore of Halifax and Harry Newman of Featherstone Rovers are also named in the shortlist.
Saints’ James Bentley won the accolade in 2017.
