A Katie May-Williams try wasn’t enough as Wigan edged Saints Women 10-6 on Sunday.
The Warriors set up a Grand Final with Leeds after a pulsating clash.
Faye Gaskin kicked Saints to a 2-0 lead early in the first half but tries from Alison Burrows and Rachel Thompson put Wigan in charge.
Saints kept on coming though and set up a dramatic end when Katie May crossed with four minutes remaining.
But it wasn’t enough as the Warriors held on.
