Saints Women’s End of Season Dinner

The Saints Women’s awards night was a great celebration of our inaugural Women’s Super League season.

Leah Burke picked up the Young player of the Year and Try of the Year gongs in her first ever season of Rugby League having transferred from gymnastics.

Vicky Whitfield won the Most Improved Player accolade in a great season that saw her make her England debut in Carcassonne against France.

Other winners were England star Faye Gaskin who was Top Try Scorer whilst Hit Woman of the Year was Saints Captain Tara Jones.

After a barnstorming season, current England women’s captain Emily Rudge won Players’ player, with World cup star Channy Crowl named Coaches’ Player of the Year.

And finally, the top award of the evening – the Player of the Year was won by the brilliant Naomi Williams.
